I am an IT Professional by training with an Honours degree in Computer Science and a professional background in Consultancy. I am currently working in PHP and Ruby on Rails systems development. I run Cuckoos Nest Antiques, an online webshop selling Antiques, Books, Ephemera, Instruments, Records and items of genealogical and topographical interest. I also run the Cuckoos Nest Antiques Blog, my daily occasionally updated scrapbook of odds and ends seen on the antiques trail.
I have been a professional club DJ since 1988 and I was Barvest DJ of the Year 2004. I was the founder of Fat Poppadaddys, one of the UKs largest nightclub promotion companies. I stood down as director in 2010 to concentrate on other projects, but Fat Poppadaddys continues to grow and is currently entertaining over 20,000 people a month. I continue to provide business consultancy and DJ services.
